On December 7th, 2022 four dedicated NOTL Hort Society members, Alice Rance, Ingrid Regier, Hilda Ellard, and Kim Mustill volunteered for the day and enjoyed sorting and tagging hundreds of poinsettias at the Van Nort greenhouse before they delivered them to 250 seniors at Pleasant Manor, Chartwell Seniors Residence and Upper Canada Lodge. Part of the Horticultural Society's mission is to give back to the community – one of the many ways this is done is by providing flowers to individuals residing in local senior residences or in long-term hospital stays.
